Architecture and World BuildingThe Fantasy genre is a rich and symbolic genre. This workshop will focus on implementing maps, and history into the writing process. Drawing a simple map and giving names to places is never enough. Every castle/city/kingdom deserves a personality of its own. In this interactive workshop, you will create a map for a fantasy world.

Learn how to edit with the best. The art of fine tuning is an important step in the publishing process. You will definitely learn something beyond capitals and periods!

Illuminated LettersArt teacher Jennifer Greer will teach you how to make your text visually pleasing. She will be instructing you on an artistic style called illuminated lettering. We will be using the technique of repousse to create an illuminated letter. This art form has been used throughout the ages and can be applied to fit a variety of occasions. From this hands-on workshop, you will take away an artistically drawn letter that may be used when publishing time comes. Get artsy and come have fun! The possibilities are endless.
